In-Home Care – Companionship & Supervision

Loneliness, isolation and depression are vicious enemies to many older folks who live alone. These evils can wreak havoc on a healthy senior’s emotional and physical well-being; they can cause memory loss, poor appetite, agitation, and anxiety. A companion caregiver can ease that anxiety and provide much needed friendship and guidance.

All Eldercare companions are Certified Nursing Assistants who have been trained in the importance of finding interesting and appropriate things to do with their clients. They know and respect that a cognitively impaired person may not feel that they need supervision. Much of the time this may be true, however we can never be sure just when that impairment is going to cause problems and perhaps lead to disaster. Eldercare caregivers will provide just the right level of care and supervision.
