Atlanta's Eldercare Systems, Inc. a licensed home care agency, was founded by Ellie Schmittinger in 1988.  Eldercare Systems began its Georgia home health business providing geriatric care management services and adult daycare.  Ellie is a geriatric professional, who believes in everyone's need to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle throughout their lifetime and understands the desire to remain at home when aging and health issues create challenges.  Homecare services provide the necessary support to do this.

Ellie Schmittinger, in addition to her professional experience, brings years of first-hand caregiving experience to Eldercare.  She was a long-distance caregiver to her mom after her father passed in 1996 until 2005, when her mother came from northern Wisconsin to live with her in Georgia.  She has experienced all the emotions through all the levels of care.  In 2007, Ellie's mom died at home with her family, beloved dog, hospice care and Eldercare by her side.  Today, Ellie has full-time Eldercare in place with her disabled husband allowing her to continue her work.  Eldercare Systems provided its owner and founder the necessary support she needed and Eldercare is available to you!

Eldercare Systems Licensed As an Atlanta Homecare Provider In 1995, Eldercare Systems, Inc. became one of Georgia's first licensed homecare providers. Eldercare serves the extended Atlanta area, providing non-medical home health and home care services on an hourly or daily live-in basis.  Eldercare has built its fine reputation on quality service.  Eldercare home health services are available in Dekalb County, Gwinnett County, Fulton County, and parts of  Henry, Cobb and Clayton County.

Eldercare Sponsors The 50 & Better Center Eldercare Systems closed its adult daycare center located in northeast Atlanta after 15 years of operation and moved to larger space.  A private, members-only social center, the 50 & BETTER CENTER for adults in downtown Tucker was born.  The new Center serves a more vital group of people near or over the age of 50.  The Center is a place where Active adults can make new friendships and find people who share common interests.  (Senior center programming is where Ellie began her geriatric career in 1978.)
